HENKO WARRANTY POLICY

1. PURPOSE
The Henko Warranty Policy provides buyers with additional confidence when purchasing used photography, studio and lighting equipment through the Henko Marketplace.
The purpose of this warranty is to cover unforeseen technical defects that were not present in the product description at the time of sale.
This policy forms part of the Henko Marketplace Terms & Conditions and Buyer Protection Policy.
2. WARRANTY PERIOD
Eligible products sold through the Henko Marketplace include a warranty period of:
Three (3) Months
The warranty period begins on the date the buyer receives the product.
Warranty claims submitted after the warranty period expires will not be accepted.
3. ELIGIBLE PRODUCTS
Unless otherwise stated, warranty coverage applies to:

Studio flash systems

Power packs
-
Monolights
-
Continuous lighting equipment
-
Light modifiers with mechanical components
-
Tripods and support systems with mechanical components
-
Video equipment
-
Audio equipment
-
Professional photography accessories
Henko reserves the right to determine product eligibility.
4. WHAT IS COVERED
The warranty covers technical defects that:

Were not disclosed before sale.
-
Occur during normal intended use.
-
Prevent the product from functioning correctly.
-
Are not caused by buyer misuse.
Examples may include:

Electronic failures
-
Charging failures
-
Triggering failures
-
Internal component failures
-
Mechanical failures
-
Manufacturing-related defects
Coverage is limited to the original purchased product.
5. WHAT IS NOT COVERED
The warranty does not cover:
Cosmetic Condition

Scratches
-
Dents
-
Paint wear
-
Discoloration
-
Surface marks
Normal Wear & Tear

Aging components
-
Wear from normal use
-
Expected deterioration of consumable parts
User Damage

Impact damage
-
Water damage
-
Fire damage
-
Electrical misuse
-
Improper storage
Unauthorized Repairs
Products repaired, modified or disassembled without Henko approval are excluded from warranty coverage.
Consumable Components
Examples include:

Batteries
-
Lamps
-
Flash tubes
-
Modeling lamps
-
Fuses
-
Protective covers
-
Cables
Unless defective upon delivery.
6. USED EQUIPMENT DISCLAIMER
All products sold through Henko are pre-owned unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Buyers acknowledge that used equipment may show signs of previous use.
Minor cosmetic imperfections do not constitute warranty defects.
7. BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES
To maintain warranty coverage, buyers must:

Use products as intended.

Follow manufacturer recommendations.

Store equipment properly.

Report defects promptly.

Cooperate with warranty investigations.
Failure to comply may affect warranty eligibility.
8. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
To submit a warranty claim, buyers must contact Henko before the warranty period expires.

Description of defect

Photographs

Videos
-
Serial numbers
-
Additional supporting documentation
Incomplete submissions may delay claim processing.
9. WARRANTY INVESTIGATION
Henko may investigate warranty claims before determining eligibility.
Investigation may include:

Technical review

Visual inspection
-
Functional testing
-
Consultation with specialists
-
Manufacturer consultation
Henko reserves the right to request shipment of the product for inspection.
10. WARRANTY RESOLUTIONS
If a warranty claim is approved, Henko may choose one of the following remedies:
Repair
The product may be repaired.
Replacement
The product may be replaced with an equivalent product where available.
Partial Refund
A partial refund may be offered where appropriate.
Full Refund
A full refund may be issued if repair or replacement is not possible.
The chosen remedy shall be determined by Henko.
11. SHIPPING COSTS
If a warranty claim is approved:

Henko may cover reasonable shipping costs.

Henko may provide shipping instructions.
If a claim is rejected:

Return shipping costs may be charged to the buyer.
12. EXCLUSIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL USE
Products used commercially, rented to third parties or subjected to unusually intensive use may be excluded from warranty coverage where excessive wear contributed to the defect.
13. EXCLUSIONS FOR THIRD-PARTY DAMAGE
Warranty coverage does not apply where defects result from:

Transport damage after delivery

Accidents
-
Negligence
-
Improper installation
-
Third-party modifications
-
Environmental conditions
14. FRAUD PREVENTION
Henko reserves the right to reject claims where:

False information is provided.

Products have been intentionally damaged.

Evidence has been manipulated.
-
Fraudulent activity is suspected.
Accounts involved in fraudulent activity may be suspended or permanently removed from the marketplace.
15. LIMITATION OF WARRANTY
The Henko Warranty is intended to provide reasonable protection for buyers purchasing used equipment.
The warranty does not constitute an insurance policy and does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of any product.
Warranty coverage is limited to the original purchase value of the product.
16. TRANSFERABILITY
The Henko Warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
Warranty coverage may not be transferred to subsequent owners.
17. RELATIONSHIP WITH BUYER PROTECTION
Buyer Protection and Warranty Coverage are separate policies.

Unexpected technical failures occurring after delivery during the warranty period.
Henko reserves the right to determine which policy applies to a particular claim.
18. POLICY CHANGES
Henko reserves the right to amend this Warranty Policy at any time.
Updated versions shall be published on the Henko website.
Changes will not affect warranty claims relating to products purchased prior to the policy update.
