Official selling rules for HENKO sellers.

1. Who can sell on HENKO?

HENKO is open to private and professional sellers offering professional photography, studio lighting and related equipment. Every new seller starts as a Marketplace Seller. Sellers who complete additional verification may become a Verified Seller.

2. Ownership and product information

• You must be the legal owner of every item you offer for sale.
• Product descriptions must be honest, accurate and complete.
• Known defects, repairs, missing parts or technical issues must always be disclosed.
• Photos must represent the actual product being offered.
• The product must match the description, photos and condition rating submitted to HENKO.

3. Accepted equipment

HENKO focuses on professional studio and photography equipment. We may refuse products that do not fit the platform or do not meet our quality standards.

4. Review & HENKO Offer

Submitting your equipment does not guarantee publication. HENKO reviews every submission, verifies the information provided and evaluates the product’s market potential. If your equipment is accepted, you’ll receive a fixed seller payout offer. Only after you approve this offer will your equipment be prepared for publication.

5. HENKO Offer & Selling Strategy

Every item deserves its own selling strategy. After reviewing your equipment, HENKO evaluates its condition, market demand, comparable sales and selling potential. Based on this assessment, we send you a fixed seller payout offer. If you accept our offer, HENKO determines the public selling price, creates the listing and manages the complete sales process on your behalf. The public selling price is determined exclusively by HENKO and includes our marketplace service, professional presentation, buyer communication, negotiations and secure payment processing. After a successful sale, you receive the agreed seller payout.

6. Public Selling Price

The public selling price is determined solely by HENKO. This price may differ from your agreed seller payout because it includes HENKO’s marketplace service, marketing, buyer support, negotiations, secure payment processing and other selling costs. Your seller payout never changes after accepting the HENKO Offer.

7. Packaging and shipping

• The seller is responsible for safe and professional packaging.
• Fragile, heavy or high-value equipment must be packed suitable for transport.
• All included accessories, cables, cases and documentation must be shipped with the product.
• Damage caused by insufficient packaging may remain the seller’s responsibility.
• Shipping instructions from HENKO must be followed carefully.

8. Payment release

The seller receives payment after the buyer has received and approved the product. The buyer has a limited inspection period after delivery. If no issue is reported within this period, seller payment can be released.

9. Returns and disputes

Returns or disputes may occur when an item materially differs from the listing, arrives incomplete or has undisclosed defects. HENKO reviews each case and may request additional information from both buyer and seller.

10. Loss of seller status

HENKO may suspend or remove seller access, listings or Verified Seller status in case of misleading descriptions, repeated complaints, unsafe packaging, non-compliance with these guidelines or suspected misuse of the platform.
